Hi, I’m Emma. As a counsellor, I am motivated to help, encourage and guide you to use your unique strengths and skills to navigate life’s challenges and achieve your goals. This is what we will work together for you to achieve.
I passionately believe that emotional and cognitive well-being is the foundation of achieving your full potential and being the key to fulfilling relationships with family, friends, and colleagues. I bring my values of kindness, gratitude, acceptance and authenticity to our relationship to build a working alliance with you based on trust, respect and collaboration. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to share your story and gain awareness of helpful and unhelpful patterns. Together we will identify the patterns in your life that are working for you and those that are holding you back.
Counselling approaches will be drawn from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based therapies to help you address your problems’ root causes, find solutions to achieve your goals, and live your best life.
