Master of Counselling Student, Monash University, Hong Kong

I have done a diverse variety of things with my life. Still, the common thing underlying everything has always been the management of people, interest in the dissimilarity of their behaviors, and the development of people.

(Evgeny Evseev)

Evgeny has a longstanding interest in physical and mental developmental health, starting with his academic journey at medical college with three years of internship and continuing through a bachelor’s degree at the State Pedagogical University, where he studied philosophy, psychology and minored in pedagogics.

As a professional athlete/coach from the ballroom dancing field, he also has experience in mentoring and guiding young people and their families for more than 25 years. Through Evgeny’s Master of Counselling degree and 200 hours of accomplished internship experience, he has come to understand personal development in a more formal, clinical way. He is ready to combine his knowledge as a mentor and a counsellor through family therapy, binging behaviours, and eating disorders.

At the same time, Evgeny has taken a keen interest in developing leadership skills and cohesion between groups of people working to achieve goals. This knowledge was an essential aspect of his role as a coach, athlete, special education needs assistant, and forming a vital part of his MBA. Such an experience naturally extends Evgeny’s ability to deal with depression, anxiety, and career development issues.
